Frequently Asked Questions
Will my insurance pay for hypnosis services?
Maybe. Maryland Hypnosis does not participate directly with insurance companies. However, some may cover hypnosis services. Upon request, we will provide you with a coded statement for you to submit directly to your insurance provider. In such a case, it may be helpful to have your physician write a prescription for hypnosis services.
Can I be made to do anything against my will?
No. Hypnosis is a consent state. As such, you cannot be made to do anything against your will.
Is Hypnosis dangerous in any way?
No. Hypnosis is a safe, most effective and non-invasive approach when undertaken by a properly qualified, properly trained, and competent hypnotherapist.
Will I reveal my secrets?
No. You cannot be made to do anything which you do not wish. You are always in control.
Will I remember what happens during Hypnosis?
Almost everyone remembers everything they or the hypnotherapist said during the session.
